Top 10 Tourist Reviews of the Eiffel Tower

Explore the enchanting experiences through the eyes of travelers with our ‘Top 10 Tourist Reviews of the Eiffel Tower.’ Discover the awe-inspiring moments, captivating views, and personal narratives that make the Eiffel Tower a must-visit destination for global adventurers.

1-The pinnacle of Paris!

Well, it’s impossible not to get emotional talking about it; well, I arrived here. Many will know what I mean because seeing this monument live is the epitome of global cultural kitsch tourism. We arrived walking from Place de la Concorde along the Seine River, and there she was, always there like a beacon. She is an iconic reference that must be photographed from various angles, from the Trocadéro square, where you have a good top-down and horizontal view. Along the banks of the Seine and throughout the square.

2-A Classic Excursion! Loved by kids! Even more so by couples!

A classic outing in Paris! It’s unthinkable to visit the city without experiencing the Eiffel Tower! Tickets are highly sought after! We purchased them more than 3 months in advance! Regardless of the day’s weather (which is a mystery), there is always something beautiful to admire. On clear days, you can see the entire urban architecture of the City of Light. Even on cloudier days, there’s a certain charm in every photo taken. On colder days, it’s worth a stop for soups or excellent dishes at the restaurants inside. Kids love the trip. Couples even more so! When we went in Jan/23, the top floor was under renovation.

3-The Tower of Towers:

Undoubtedly, the Eiffel Tower is an inexplicable experience. In photos, one cannot grasp the wonderful spectacle of being at the foot of the tower. The place called ‘Trocadero’ is where you get the best view for photos. It’s on the other side of the bridge. At night, its illumination is fantastic, with 336 high-pressure sodium lamps of 1k that turn the tower golden. At the beginning of each hour, 20,000 sparkling bulbs come to life, flickering for five minutes.
It’s a spectacle.

4-A Dream Come True

A place that must be visited. You should purchase tickets in advance. Be careful not to buy the wrong ticket. Ideally, buy tickets for the visit to the top. When we visited, the tower was under renovation on the 2nd floor, so the visit was affected as we didn’t have access to the full view. Other than that, it’s all about admiring the place.

5-Don’t Miss the Most Exciting Sunset of Your Life

I don’t know if it was because of the challenges we faced to get to Paris, hahaha, if it was the adrenaline of going up that height, or if it was the moment it hit me that I was in Paris. I can only say that I cried with emotion when I saw the view in those orange hues and the sun setting. An incredible vibe, those images that we carry with us for life. Here, I post some photos, but it doesn’t even capture 10% of what it’s like to experience this live. JUST GO, PLEASE!

Getting to know the Eiffel Tower is a breathtaking experience. It is truly enormous and can be seen from various locations in the city. However, the area around it is smaller than I imagined, with the tower being very close to buildings, avenues, and restaurants. The garden is under maintenance, so everything is isolated by fences, which is a shame. The best view is at night, with the light show in action. Sensational. We took the best photos on the bridge near the Carousel.

7-Worth Going with a Guide

It is one of the postcards of Paris, and it is worth the visit accompanied by a guide. In my case, it was through Headout, with a fantastic guide who explained the origin of the tower, construction details, curiosities, etc. The ascent can be done by elevator, but I recommend the stairs, 300 and something steps to the first floor, plus 300 and something to the second, and then an elevator to the top. Fantastic experience, breathtaking view. Worth it.

8-A Must-See

There’s no way to go to Paris and not visit the Eiffel Tower! I bought the ticket in advance on the official website, and the entrance was well-organized. Despite going at the first time slot, there was already a bit of a line, so I recommend arriving a little early. A tip if you want to save a bit is to use the stairs instead of the elevator since the ticket is cheaper that way. There are many stairs, but it’s also a good way to enjoy the view of the city. Be sure to see the Tower from both the Champ de Mars and the Trocadéro!

An iconic landmark of the city, a symbol of Paris that can be seen from various points, but seeing it from Trocadéro or Champ de Mars is an unmissable experience for anyone visiting the city, whether it’s the first or the twentieth time. Climbing the Tower is also fantastic, especially in the late afternoon, with the sun setting, making the city even more beautiful!

The tower is art. It’s history, culture, and emotion. It evokes in us the disbelief of something so beautiful. The tip I can give you is to bring a jacket if you’re going up the tower. It’s quite windy up there, so it’s good to protect yourself. Other than that, enjoy every possible second of the tower and Paris. You may leave Paris, but Paris will never leave you!

In conclusion, the Eiffel Tower is a historic and cultural landmark that captivates the hearts of all who visit it. Its imposing architecture, intriguing history, and breathtaking panoramic views make it an essential tourist destination in Paris. Additionally, the restaurants, souvenir shops, exhibitions, and events surrounding the Eiffel Tower offer a complete and memorable experience for visitors. Whether admiring its wrought-iron structure, enjoying the beauty of Paris from its observation decks, or exploring its adjacent attractions, the Eiffel Tower is sure to leave a lasting impression on your visit to the City of Light.
